Lithuanian Hall

851 Hollins St, Baltimore, MD 21201

The Kestutis Association, Baltimore’s first Lithuanian cultural association, was established in 1903, but soon outgrew its original location on Barre Street. This organization became the Lithuanian Corporation in 1915 and found a new, larger home in two adjacent buildings at the corner of Hollins and Parkin streets. When the 1920-21 renovation of this space was complete, the hall was celebrated with a month of festivities. Today, the hall still serves as a cultural and social center for Lithuanians. During your visit, climb the intricately carved wooden stairway, peruse the museum of folk art, and explore the ethnic library all housed inside.
