Church & Company

3647 Falls Rd, Baltimore, MD 21211 www.churchandco.org

The Gothic Revival Hampden Presbyterian Church was designed by prolific Baltimore architect George A. Frederick, who also designed Baltimore City Hall and numerous structures in Druid Hill Park, including the Parks and People Headquarters. Constructed of Texas Limestone, quarried in Baltimore County, the church originally housed a Sunday school on the first floor and a sanctuary on the second floor. After the church ceased operations in the 1970s, the building saw use as a community center, clinic and travel agency. In 2011, the congregation sold the building to Alex Fox and Joey Rubulata, who rehabbed the interior and restored the sanctuary to its original layout. Now the second floor is rented out for special events and retail space occupies the ground floor. Come enjoy refreshments and a special exhibit for Doors Open Baltimore!
